Investigator spotlight!!

Dave is our pick for investigator spotlight of the month! Dave started with NAPS many years ago and has been a great addition to the team. He started off in the deep end, as we like to call it for investigations, as his second and third investigation consisted of a back-to-back trip to Bobby Mackey’s Music World in Wilder, KY to the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, OH. Two legendary locations and he did an awesome job at both. He always does what he can to help, even just with coming up with ideas in order to help the team grow and succeed. Click to learn more about David and the rest of the team! Some bio’s coming soon!

Hello everyone! We hope you are all having a great summer! Some updates from us here at NAPS. Eric and Jen recently got to explore the historic Brushy Mountain State Penetentiary in Petros, Tennessee. If you haven’t been, it’s worth a trip out there! Tell ’em NAPS sent ya! Just watch out for snakes :). We had a great time getting to walk around the various buildings that the complex housed and investigate the location top to bottom. We’re still going through evidence review, but some of the other members who were there may have some interesting things. Hopefully we can cross check our evidence with theirs to substantiate anything possibly paranormal. We’d like to give a huge shout-out and thank you to Grave Concerns Paranormal out of Virginia for setting up the event and giving us the invite to join them. Met some new faces as well and had a great time overall. We will be checking out the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum with them within the month as well. Jen and Eric actually witnessed a door moving by itself during a day tour a few years back and they are excited to check the place out again, but this time, spending the whole night on site! We’ll keep you all updated on how things go and we have some exciting things planned for the future as well! Stay tuned!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the absence of posts! We’ve been busy with many things though! Upcoming investigations this year is Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary and revisiting Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. For each investigation we’ll be joining with our close friends, Grave Concerns Paranormal out of Virginia to take on these two epic locations. We’ll be sure to post more things in the future. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message and we’ll get back with you as soon as we can!

Hey everyone!

Happy Ghostober to you all! We hope you’re enjoying the spooky season and prepping for the Halloween holiday and enjoy it because it’s on a Saturday!!!

NAPS had a great time working with Positively Paranormal and Port City Paranormal to investigate the USS North Carolina battleship on September 26th. Had some interesting things happen throughout the night, hearing footsteps, hearing what sounded like someone working in the engine room. We are still working evidence review and sorting through all the audio and video for any evidence should it present itself.

Upcoming, we’ll be checking out the Octagon Mansion in a joint effort with Grave Concerns Paranormal out of Virginia and then GCP will be joining us yet again to investigate the Grand Old Lady hotel in Balsam, North Carolina. Exciting things coming up as well as some filming of investigations for our new YouTube series which will start next year called “Raw Paranormal.”

Exciting things ahead! Make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for further updates and live videos of our investigations!

Hope you are all doing great out there and staying safe!

We’ve been busy working on research and planning out investigations for the upcoming year as well as doing more research and work on the YouTube series coming soon! Lots of things in the pipeline and we’re excited to share it all with you as it happens! Keep checking back for further updates. Also feel free to peruse the site and learn more about the realm of the paranormal!

Today’s shout-out goes to the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum located in Weston, West Virginia. The place is incredible, the architecture is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. If you haven’t had a chance to stop by here to either tour or investigate or both, you definitely should! It’s a stop that I would highly suggest on your paranormal bucket list.

Happy Thursday to one and all! We are hard at work preparing the teaser trailer for a new series that we’re hoping to get started here in the near future. Something that will entail discussions about the paranormal, about history, of course talks about investigations and evidence. We will also be getting a YouTube channel for all of this to be on but you will be able to get to that link from this site as well. It’s going to be a blast!

Happy Wednesday to you all! Got some exciting things brewing! Been in contact with multiple sites and in process of setting up investigations for the coming months and into next year! Website is constantly being updated as well. In addition, we are also looking into starting up a YouTube channel that will depict some of our investigations as well as some lectures and equipment show and tells. Fun times ahead, also looking forward to investigating with some of our friends and delving further into the paranormal! Stay tuned!!

The North American Paranormal Society is a team of researchers and investigators who pride themselves on trying to solve paranormal claims using rational thinking and other debunking methods. Whatever we cannot figure out, then the evidence gets closer to what we deem as “paranormal”. We would ask others that we know and trust of the same mindset to take a look and see if they can figure out what the evidence could possibly be. In our opinion, if something “could” be something else, then it most likely is. The simplest solution is usually the correct one. We hope that through our research and investigations that not only do we help those that we are investigating for, but that any evidence and / or explanations that we give to others can help to further the study of this field.
